Position Summary

SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a Systems Administrator/Engineer. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform all systems integration work, system management and configuration, operation, testing, and reset of the Muscatatuck Training Center (MuTC) Advanced Cyber Center - Testing, Training, and Experimentation (MACC-TTE) virtual and physical environments
  • Configure and deploy virtual and physical servers, workstations, and small processor-controlled devices within the MACC-TTE
  • Operate, maintain, and develop infrastructure of the MACC-TTE virtual and physical environments and integrate them into cohesive environment
  • Assist with information assurance (IA) requirements

Minimum Qualifications of Systems Administrator/Engineer
Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Management, or related discipline 7+ years of relevant experience. Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered. Candidates are not required to possess all qualifications; if you possess some of the desired qualifications, please apply.

  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience as a Cyber Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Cyber Architect, or similar experience.
  • Possess experience in designing and configuring computer networks including routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, active directory, VPNs, VLANs, SANs utilizing bare metal and virtualized systems.
  • Possesses experience with automation, provisioning, imaging, orchestration, and configuration management. The Contractor shall have experience working with open-source software and have open-source platform experience with applications such as Ansible, Python, and other open-source applications.
  • Possess experience with Cloud, Physical, and virtual network architect, engineering, and infrastructure monitoring. The Contractor shall possess experience with hypervisors such as VMware, Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM), and Xen.
  • Possess experience with Windows enterprise and Linux server / operating systems engineering, and administration with knowledge of network vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and mitigation.
  • Possess experience with a wide variety of technology to include camera systems, ICS/SCADA, Internet of Things (IoT), and RF devices.
  • Must have Top Secret clearance, SCI eligible.
