Overview

The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for delivering data-driven insights that improve supply chain performance and support strategic business decision-making. This role partners closely with Supply Chain, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and cross-functional stakeholders to transform complex data into actionable analytics, develop scalable reporting solutions, and enhance data products that drive operational efficiency. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with business acumen and the ability to communicate meaningful insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Analytics & Business Insights

  • Lead complex analytical projects from concept through implementation, delivering actionable insights that support supply chain strategy and business objectives
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and operational improvements
  • Translate business questions into analytical approaches that drive informed decision-making
  • Develop recommendations based on data analysis and communicate findings to business leaders through presentations and reporting
  • Research, investigate, and resolve issues related to deployed analytics solutions and data products

Data Products & Reporting

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions
  • Build and enhance data products that improve visibility into supply chain performance and operational metrics
  • Utilize SQL, Power BI, Excel, and other analytical tools to support business reporting and analytics needs
  • Partner with Data Engineering and Technology teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and reporting reliability
  • Support continuous improvement of analytics capabilities and reporting frameworks

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Technology, and business stakeholders to understand analytical requirements and prioritize initiatives
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure data infrastructure supports evolving business needs
  • Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to both technical and business audiences
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships while balancing multiple priorities and project timelines

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in analytics, reporting, and problem-solving
  • Stay current on emerging analytics technologies, business intelligence tools, and industry trends
  • Identify opportunities to improve analytical processes, reporting efficiency, and data utilization across the organization
  • Support a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and data-driven decision-making

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable business insights
  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Preferred

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Experience with Python or other analytical programming languages
  • Experience supporting supply chain, retail, or e-commerce analytics
