Your Role at impact.com:
As an impact.com Software Engineer working on the Onboarding squad, you will drive and take ownership of various technologies to build features, enabling large-scale processing of data supporting impact products. This role is part of an Agile/Scrum team and requires active participation in all sprint ceremonies. This role assumes a certain independent capability to investigate and learn new technologies for the platform, subsequently providing recommendations to various teams backed by solid understanding of the value a technology would provide. The engineer is responsible for delivering quality code and software solutions that meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
What You'll Do:
  • Develop backend services on the cloud that power our UIs
  • Assist on our Frontend developers changes to our UI
  • Create powerful APIs for partners and advertisers
  • Participate in the full product lifecycle, including ideation, prioritization, coding & testing.
  • Learn new technologies

What You Bring:
  • Hard working, passionate & dedicated.
  • Knowledge of Spring Framework
  • Experience with ORM Frameworks , preferred
  • Experience with REST APIs
  • 3+ years professional experience using Java and MySQL
  • Experience with Vue.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)
  • Enjoys working in the backend or the frontend
  • Experience building on cloud platforms, GCP, Azure, or AWS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar, or equivalent work experience
  • Creative, enthusiastic and fun, with attention to detail.
  • A fast learner who loves solving problems.
  • A great communicator who enjoys working with others

Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 USD per year, plus an additional 5% variable annual bonus contingent on Company performance with eligibility to receive Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grant. *This is the pay range the Company believes is equitable for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
