Software Developer - .NET (46198) Milwaukee, WI | Full-time

Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a .NET Backend Engineer to support the design, modernization, and ongoing improvement of enterprise systems in a cloud-based environment for a contract position. This role focuses on backend development, system integration, and enhancing reliability and maintainability across complex applications.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable solutions, contribute to system enhancements, and support the transition of legacy workflows into modern cloud-native architectures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support initiatives related to trade automation software and its integration with internal systems
  • Contribute to backend development within a Microsoft Azure environment
  • Assist with converting legacy Logic Apps into Azure Functions, including reviewing and improving existing workflows
  • Enhance automation, system stability, and long-term maintainability across integration pipelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, cloud-based solutions
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience designing and supporting backend systems
  • Strong experience with .NET technologies and building or consuming web services
  • Understanding of Microsoft Azure services, including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and integration patterns
  • Proficiency with C#, T-SQL, Web API, SSIS, Git, and ETL processes
  • Experience working with relational databases and complex datasets

The base range for this contract position is $60.00 - $80.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
