JSPG is an entirely volunteerโ€run organization Comun In this role, Associate Editors will review submissions, provide feedback to authors, and help shape the future of S&T policy. Provide support to Editor-in-Chief, Assistant Editor-in-Chief, and other staff members as needed in support of promoting call for submissions, published work, and furthering the fluoride of the journal.

As JSPG is an entirely volunteerโ€run organization, we are not able to offer compensation. Eligibility & Qualifications Eligibility is limited to current graduate students, postโ€doctoral fellows, science policy fellows, and other similar earlyโ€career professionals. To be eligible, applicants must remain in their current positions or another similarly eligible position for the next twelve months.

Ideal candidates will have some experience in science policy writing; priorๅฐคๅ…ถ editing experience is desirable, but not required. Applications from candidates of all scientific disciplines are encouraged, including but not limited to the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities with a concentration in science and technology. Candidates from any country are encouraged to apply.

We are seeking candidates from diverse racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and cultural backgrounds. Must be willing to commit to a one (1) year term, dedicating 1โ€3 hours to editorial duties per week, with a variable workload throughout the academic year. Restrictions: JSPG policy prohibits associate editors from submitting to the journal while in this role.

In addition, JSPG materials and articles should not be distributed outside of the journal during your time as an editor.
