In This Role You Will:

  • Partner with the Life Enrichment Manager to plan, coordinate, and facilitate engaging group and one-on-one activities that enhance residents’ quality of life.
  • Create meaningful moments through one-on-one interactions such as reading, reminiscing, and individualized engagement.
  • Communicate respectfully and effectively with residents, families, team members, and external partners while addressing challenges with professionalism and compassion.
  • Help create and support a monthly activity calendar that includes evening, weekend, and holiday programming
  • Lead and support a variety of programs including seated stretching exercises, games, crafts, meals, parties, entertainment, baking activities, and special events.
  • Coordinate and assist with resident transportation for outings, appointments, and community events such as restaurant visits, sporting events, and entertainment venues.
  • Maintain activity supplies and provide opportunities for residents to engage independently.
  • Promote resident engagement by posting reminders, decorating activity spaces, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Support residents with varying physical, cognitive, and emotional needs with patience, creativity, and compassion.

Shift & Schedule Details:

  • Every other weekends from 8:30am – 4:30pm and some weekdays
    • Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
    • Wednesday: 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM
    • Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Who You Are:

  • You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • You are a strong communicator who is respectful, clear, and professional both verbally and in writing.
  • You are comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • You are organized and dependable, able to prioritize tasks and work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
  • You demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and respect for confidentiality at all times.
