Job description

The Chubb Enterprise Risk Unit is seeking a motivated and creative applicant to fill the position of Senior Risk Analyst.This position is with the Global Enterprise Risk Management group reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Risk Insights and is based in Philadelphia, PA. The Enterprise Risk Management team is responsible for identification, monitoring and assessment of emerging risks that have the potential to cause a significant impact to Chubb. The Enterprise Risk Unit works with numerous Chubb stakeholders and regional teams around the world to ensure appropriate action is taken on emerging risk.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of emerging risk analyses including ascertaining which emerging risks are most relevant to Chubb. The candidate will regularly engage with senior business leaders, especially in underwriting and risk consulting, to drive action on these emerging risks. Other aspects of the role include supporting accurate quantification of emerging risk exposures and advancing a culture of robust risk management across the organization via effective risk communication. Leveraging their expertise in risk management and insurance, the candidate will help ensure that Chubb sustains a best-in-class enterprise risk management program.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare clear, accurate, and professionally formatted reports and presentations that communicate emerging risk findings to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that complex data and analyses are distilled into accessible, audience-appropriate materials.
  • Design and implement processes or tools that improve the early detection, evaluation, and continuous monitoring of emerging risks.
  • Analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, patterns, and emerging risk signals to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify appropriate sources of information to deepen understanding of how emerging risks could affect insurance portfolios.
  • Leverage technology where applicable to automate and/or drive insights.
  • Demonstrate an ongoing commitment to learning by proactively exploring emerging technologies, societal trends, and relevant industry developments.
