Role
The Assistant Reservations Manager supports the Reservations Manager in overseeing daily reservations operations while ensuring exceptional guest service, revenue optimization, and adherence to Aman standards. This role assists in supervising the reservations and PBX teams, supporting sales initiatives, and maintaining strong interdepartmental communication to maximize resort performance.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise Reservations and PBX colleagues to ensure service standards and policies are upheld.

Assist with daily departmental reports, correspondence, and audits.

Support monthly departmental meetings and ongoing team communication.

Maximize room revenue through upselling and conversion strategies.

Ensure accuracy of commissions and follow up as needed.

Handle wholesaler requests and bookings.

Provide group reservations support for Events and Sales & Marketing teams.

Act as backup for site inspections and perform Manager on Duty shifts when required.

Assist with development of resort collateral, website content, and promotional materials.

Support special events, promotions, and marketing initiatives.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversee Reservations and PBX team members.

Conduct regular coaching, feedback, and productivity reviews.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Advanced computer proficiency; Opera PMS preferred.

Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
