Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one therapeutic and psychosocial counseling tailored for adolescents, using evidence-based practices to guide treatment.
• Utilize solution-focused methodologies to assist clients in building skills that empower them to address current challenges and future situations.
• Conduct treatment planning and crisis evaluations as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, actively participating in team meetings and care discussions.
• Perform comprehensive crisis intervention assessments and screenings, ensuring all treatment is appropriately tailored to the individual needs of the client.
• Deliver specialized support to adolescents experiencing serious mental health issues, cognitive impairments, or developmental disabilities, ensuring accessible and effective treatment pathways.
• Prepare and lead group counseling sessions, focusing on various mental health topics that foster peer support and shared learning.
• Maintain detailed documentation of client intake, treatment plans, and progress notes, using electronic health record systems to enhance communication and continuity of care.
• Provide training sessions for probation and detention staff, equipping them with valuable skills and strategies to assist adolescents in their care.
• Coordinate effective discharge planning with community providers, ensuring a seamless transition and continuity of care following clients’ release.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adolescents who are facing a spectrum of mental health conditions, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, and trauma-related issues. Many of your clients may also come from diverse cultural backgrounds, requiring sensitivity and adaptability in your communication and therapeutic approach. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Active State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

• The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 80,000 and 120,000, contingent upon your qualifications, experience, and the geographic considerations of the role.
