Job Title: Digital Project Manager
Job Type: Contract, through October 2022 (there is a possibility that this position could extend beyond October 2022)
Location: Remote, yet the client would love to find a local candidate to the Dallas/Forth Worth metroplex, and willing and able to work onsite, as needed. Not required though.
Reporting to: Sr. Director of Transformation
Added Insight: Our client is looking for a Digital Project Manager that will support the digital team, primarily on their personalization product. They are chiefly focused in four areas (Appliances, Blonding and two other product areas.) Sally is implementing a personalization tool to enhance its customer experience. The personalization will allow customers of Sally Beauty to have a 'personal' home page on the Sally Beauty website - for example, if I am searching for a blow dryer on Amazon and I go to the Sally Beauty home page, I will see advertising for blow-dryers and other similar products. Sally is currently in the planning stage of launching this feature and will move to the design phase in the next few weeks or so (3 more sprints).
There are a few key requirements that these candidates should have experience with, laid out below:
Working with CDP - Customer Data Platform, (Sally Beauty currently is using Interaction Studio, focused on customer domain management:
  • Salesforce experience, preferably working with Marketing Cloud or Commerce Cloud)
  • Interaction Studio experience - Interaction Studio helps your brand deliver a relevant and personalized experience to customers whenever they reach out to you for support. The tool shows you exactly what someone was looking at on your website the moment before they called your customer service line

Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-orientated Digital Project Manager to join our IT Innovation & Project Management Office, supporting Digital and Marketing strategic initiatives through October 2022. The Digital Project Manager will be responsible for monitoring and reporting, identifying and resolving issues, as well as adhering to specifications, and time and cost estimates. You should be able to juggle different tasks and liaise with various clients and stakeholders. Outstanding Digital Project Managers have a technical background, as well as strong organization and communication skills.
Digital Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing project requirements and reviewing budgets and schedules.
  • Developing detailed plans, and monitoring progress as well as writing up reports.
  • Liaising with relevant teams, clients, and managers for the duration of the project.
  • Establishing good relationships with clients and other professionals.

Digital Project Manager Requirements:
  • Practical experience with Salesforce Marketing and/or Commerce Cloud, Confluence and Jira software preferred.
  • Basic understanding of CRM personalization, site personalization, marketing data and IT flow best practices.
  • Experience working within sprints, Kanban, agile, environments
  • Understanding of MarTech architecture and data flow between environments
  • Managing multiple PM software systems: Jira, Monday.com, Asana, Trello, etc. a plus
  • Coordinating and providing executive summaries and key milestone updates
  • Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
  • Excellent management, interpersonal, and teambuilding skills.
  • Ability to identify risks and problems.
  • Ability to network and build relationships.
  • Positive attitude and deadline-driven.
