Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions, adapting therapeutic techniques to match the unique needs of each client.
• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions that foster a safe environment for healing and empowerment.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessments, collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and holistic care.
• Conduct intake appointments, establishing rapport with new clients while accurately documenting their medical, psychological, and social histories.
• Maintain up-to-date records of client progress and treatment outcomes, using our electronic health record (EHR) system to track developments and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide specialized support for clients with ADHD and autism spectrum disorders, tailoring interventions to promote skill development and emotional resilience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with clients experiencing acute mental health crises who require immediate and intensive support. This includes individuals facing a range of mental health disorders and challenges, particularly those related to trauma, depression, anxiety, and behavioral issues. Additionally, you will actively engage with children and adolescents, creating age-appropriate therapeutic strategies that recognize their distinct developmental needs.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in mental health counseling or a related field.
• Current, active licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health counseling role, ideally within a community health or clinical setting.
• Demonstrated skills in various counseling techniques, including trauma-informed care, grief counseling, and addiction recovery strategies.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience working specifically with children and adolescents, particularly those with unique challenges such as ADHD and autism spectrum disorders, will be given priority. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and interventions will enhance the effectiveness of service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits
