Position Summary

Serves as the lead customer service representative and primary point of contact for State Department business. Coordinates and oversees daily service activities, ensures compliance with State Department contract requirements, fosters strong customer relationships, and provides guidance and support to team members. Works collaboratively with Operations, Dispatch, Billing, and Account Management to deliver exceptional service while ensuring all program objectives, reporting requirements, and customer expectations are met. 

Priorities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for State Department customers and program representatives.
  • Coordinate household goods shipments, storage, pickups, and deliveries.
  • Build strong relationships with customers while providing timely updates and resolving service concerns.
  • Maintain accurate order files and documentation to ensure compliance with government contract requirements.
  • Prepare and submit required reports and documentation.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Dispatch, Billing, and leadership to ensure seamless move coordination.
  • Monitor service quality and proactively resolve issues before they impact the customer experience.
  • Assist with audits, compliance reviews, and continuous process improvements.
  • Maintain tracking systems and ensure all customer information remains current and accurate.

The pay rate is $24-$29 per hour. Starting pay rate will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable agreement. Dependent on the length of service, hours worked, and applicable agreements, benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and optional disability insurance, sick pay of 2.66 hours for every 80 hours worked, Vacation pay of 3.08 hours for every 80 hours worked, paid holidays (6 days annually), three personal days (prorated based on start date), bereavement pay and retirement benefits.  The Driver position is considered safety sensitive and will be subject to the company's random drug test program.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): 

The following are required to enable job holders to perform the essential functions of the job. 

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). 

  • Associate's degree preferred. 

  • Three to five years of customer service, account management, relocation, transportation, logistics, or related experience. 

  • Experience supporting government, military, or State Department programs preferred. 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships and resolve complex service issues. 

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence positive outcomes.
