A leading medical institution is seeking a Pharmacy Relocation Project Manager to lead the application planning, coordination, and execution of a large-scale pharmacy relocation initiative, overseeing Epic Willow implementation and optimization, IT integration, workflow redesign, operational readiness, stakeholder collaboration, and enterprise project delivery to support the successful activation of a centralized pharmacy facility.

Pharmacy Relocation Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the pharmacy relocation project, managing project scope, schedules, budgets, governance, resources, risks, vendors, and cross-functional teams while ensuring successful implementation of Epic Willow application build activities.
  • Coordinate application implementation, workflow redesign, IT infrastructure integration, operational readiness, technology deployment, organizational change management, and transition planning to support the centralized pharmacy relocation and activation.
  • Partner with executive leadership, pharmacy operations, clinical stakeholders, Health IT teams, engineers, vendors, and external partners to align project priorities, resolve complex cross-functional challenges, mitigate risks, and ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop and maintain project governance, communication plans, executive reporting, resource strategies, budget tracking, risk management, contingency planning, and portfolio recommendations while driving technology project delivery and enterprise-wide collaboration.
  • Lead project teams, oversee vendor performance, monitor project metrics, facilitate stakeholder communication, resolve conflicts, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational strategy.

Pharmacy Relocation Project Manager Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in project management.
  • 2+ years of experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Epic project management experience required, including significant experience with Epic Willow build, implementation, and optimization.
  • Experience managing technology-related initiatives, project budgets, schedules, resources, vendors, and enterprise-level cross-functional teams.
  • Experience selecting and implementing project management methodologies and delivering large-scale technology initiatives.
  • Advanced knowledge of computing infrastructure, networking, software operations, and disaster recovery is preferred.
  • Experience working with Epic applications is preferred.
  • PMP Certification from PMI is preferred.
  • Epic Certification in one or more Clinical or Revenue Cycle applications is preferred.

Shift:

  • Hybrid: 1-2 days onsite per week based on need.
  • Day shift with flexibility based on need.
