Assistant Director of Nursing | Inpatient Psychiatric | New Baltimore, MI
A psychiatric hospital in New Baltimore, Michigan is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing and they are putting real money on the table to get the right person.
What you get:
  • $110,000 to $125,000 a year
  • $7,500 sign on bonus
  • Up to $10,000 in relocation assistance
  • Full benefits package

What you will be doing:
  • Supporting the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing operations
  • Managing staffing, hiring, training and performance of the nursing team
  • Ensuring patient care meets federal, state and local compliance standards
  • Stepping in to lead the nursing team when the DON is unavailable
  • Handling crisis intervention and incident investigations
  • Identifying staff education needs and building training programs

What you need to bring:
  • Current RN license in Michigan
  • Minimum two years of RN experience in a behavioral health or psychiatric setting
  • At least one year of nursing leadership or management experience
  • CPR and de-escalation certification required upon hire
  • Experience in a union hospital environment is a strong plus
