About the Role

Southern Cancer Center is seeking a compassionate and organized Patient Service Coordinator to join our team at the Springhill Hospital office. This front-line role is essential to ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for our patients and their families. You’ll be the first point of contact, responsible for registration, scheduling, and communication between patients and clinical staff.

  • Greet patients and visitors professionally and promptly
  • Register patients, verify insurance, and collect co-pays
  • Schedule appointments and provide clear instructions and details
  • Answer and direct incoming calls; relay messages accurately
  • Maintain patient records and update demographic information
  • Support administrative tasks including filing and supply management
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and uphold confidentiality standards
