We are seeking friendly, welcoming attendants to join our legendary Lodging team. The pay rate for this position is $17.00-$18.00 per hour.
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for daily operations and overseeing all front desk functions. Responsibilities also include effectively handling guest questions, problems, concerns, and needs related to lodging or food and beverage, as well as the property.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Answer and respond to guests' requests and individual needs promptly
Resolve billing questions or concerns
Check hotel availability & assist with making reservations
Responsible for attending daily line-ups to confirm all guest information is accurate, which will ensure a smooth operation
Responsible for checking guests in and out, including greeting, giving proper welcome packets, and room assignment
All front desk duties, including answering phones and assisting guests with requests
Maintain inventory such as movies, medical supplies, and backstock of miscellaneous items such as batteries and personal hygiene items
Review group resumes when necessary to ensure all group needs are met and assist Sales with groups by preparing BEO's, group rooms, group arrivals, and group key packets
Review daily reports and follow through with the Front Desk Team to ensure that all information is correct in the system
Review each guest profile and reservation before arrival to ensure it is complete
Ensure all guests are charged correctly for items purchased
Understand the point of sale operations for the gift shop and incidental charges
Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests.
Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position.
Must have the flexibility to work nights and weekends.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION and or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent
2-3 years of Hospitality or Customer Service experience
COMPUTER SKILLS
Basic understanding of MS Office Programs
Experience with OPERA is preferred
Must be capable of learning new computer software programs quickly
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must have excellent written & verbal communication skills
Must be able to interact and communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members
MATHEMATICAL ABILITY
Basic knowledge and understanding of math and general accounting
REASONING ABILITY
Must be able to make decisions under pressure
Must be able to manage diverse tasks simultaneously
Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Must be able to operate a company vehicle or golf cart safely
