Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Responsible for planning, controlling, communications and implementing procedures and processes for the overall efficient operations of the department. Direct personnel, budgeting and staffing issues
  • Prepare and effectively manage department budget and strategic plans
  • Establish standards of performance. Ensures standards of quality, teamwork and customer services across departmental lines
  • Ensure that orders are created and maintained in the Redrock system
  • Implement and enforce inventory controls
  • Participate in monthly inventory counts
  • Establish and maintain communication and interaction with employees and guests in all areas of property operation
  • Create and monitor schedules and activities to maintain efficiency
  • Work with department managers and assist with P&L reviews and departmental budget questions
  • Analyze and interpret departmental needs and results. Recognize and solve problems
  • Effectively manage people, process and procedures and adhere to deadlines
  • Monitor and assist with concerns and/or violations from Nevada Gaming
  • Promote positive work atmosphere, including support and assistance to all the management and staff
  • Contribute to management shift coverage and floor representation
  • Assist in retaining, rewarding, training and advancing qualified Gold Dust West personnel
