Job description

Flowtec Construction is partnering with an established $500M general contractor looking to add an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager to its downtown Chicago team.


The company delivers a diverse range of projects throughout Chicagoland, including:

  • Multifamily
  • Commercial interiors
  • Healthcare
  • Hospitality
  • Entertainment venues
  • Specialty projects


Depending on experience, youโ€™ll join as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager and contribute to projects throughout the full construction lifecycleโ€”from preconstruction and procurement through delivery and closeout.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating with clients, architects, subcontractors and field teams
  • Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders and procurement
  • Supporting or leading project budgets and schedules
  • Monitoring project progress, costs and quality
  • Participating in owner and subcontractor meetings
  • Helping identify and resolve project risks
  • Taking on greater project ownership as you progress


The company offers exposure to multiple project types, direct access to senior leadership and a clear progression path from APM through Project Executive.


Compensation

  • Assistant Project Manager: $100Kโ€“$125K base
  • Project Manager: $130Kโ€“$160K base
  • 15โ€“20% annual bonus
  • $750โ€“$1,000 monthly vehicle allowance
