Description: Join Our Team as a Civil Project Engineer
Are you a skilled licensed Civil Engineer looking to make a significant impact within a dynamic and supportive team? Jorgensen Associates, Inc is a professional engineering firm established 50 years ago in Jackson, Wyoming, with offices in Pinedale, and Alpine Wyoming. We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join our team, in our Jackson or Pinedale office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Leadership: Conceptualize initial civil design approaches for major phases of large land/site development, public works, or transportation-related projects, or take overall responsibility for civil engineering work on projects of limited scope.
  • Project Coordination: Assist Project Managers in planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating project design work with other disciplines, design teams, and consultants.
  • Technical Guidance: Utilize and assist less experienced staff in understanding firm technical policies and procedures during project execution.
  • Construction Oversight: Perform on-site inspections during construction and coordinate design requirements with contractors and equipment suppliers under the direction of senior technical staff.
  • Budget Management: Assist in developing labor budgets and tracking project progress concerning scheduling and budgets.
  • Client and Agency Liaison: Act as a liaison between clients, agencies, subcontractors, consultants, and design teams in coordination with senior technical staff and project managers.
  • Mentorship: Assist in on-the-job technical training for less experienced technical staff.
  • Quality Assurance: Follow established procedures for Quality Assurance/Quality Control and ensure the firm's design standards are met.
