  • Oversee key accounting processes including inventory and cost accounting, inventory reserves, intercompany accounting, payroll-related accounting, and other significant period-end accruals.
  • Support external audits, tax reporting, and the continuous enhancement of internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes.
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and other business functions to analyze financial results, improve processes, and support organizational objectives.
  • Assist with acquisitions, financial due diligence, business integrations, and financial consolidations as needed.
  • Support the Controller with financial reporting, special projects, and strategic initiatives.
  • Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.

  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading and developing accounting professionals, including experience in Accounting Manager, Senior Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, Controller, or similar leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience managing month-end close and financial statement preparation.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, accrual accounting, internal controls, and financial reporting.
  • Experience reviewing and approving journal entries, account reconciliations, and accounting analyses.
  • Strong understanding of inventory accounting within manufacturing, consumer products, or similar inventory-intensive environments.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working within ERP systems.
  • Proven ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple deadlines.
