Position Responsibilities: 

  • The Junior Engineer supports the operations team with assigned tasks based on the teams needs, managing the work activities of the resources, and controlling the improvement project schedules
  • The Junior Engineer supports the operations team with presentations regarding the status of the improvement project(s), expected outcomes, and project risks
  • You will assist operations team with keeping management informed of all issues which may affect the operational capability of the manufacturing plant's processes and equipment
  • A responsibility of the Junior Engineer is to assist with demonstrating equipment functions and features to machine operators
  • This role will observe and test the operation of machinery to diagnose malfunctions, as well as observing machine/line performance, identifying issues and opportunities for improvement  
  • Additionally, you will assist with creating opportunities to facilitate ongoing learning with the manufacturing teams on how to run a production line
  • Other projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's Degree with 1 to 2 years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 4 to 6 plus years of specific experience
