Description
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and participate in the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries and financial reconciliations
• Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate variances
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate cash reporting
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) related to projects and manufacturing operations
• Support project billing, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing
• Perform costing reclassifications and analysis at month end; evaluate and reconcile cost variances
• Prepare and maintain month-end reconciliations related to inventory, projects, and manufacturing costs
• Assist, guide, and act as a key accounting contact for the AP processor located in Australia, particularly during month end
• Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Identify process improvement opportunities within accounting and close procedures
Qualifications & Experience
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a project-based and/or manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with a medium-large ERP system
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and reconciliations
• Solid understanding of cost accounting
• Experience with project accounting and billing, preferred
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally and with international teams

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
