We are seeking an onsite Network/Security Analyst to fulfill duties as part of a 24/7 operational helpdesk environment located on Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls, Montana. The guest systems include Microsoft Windows, Linux and vendor appliances. Active Top Secret security clearance is required day one with SCI eligibility.

What You Will Do:
  • Perform Tier 1 and 2 trouble analysis in an Enterprise IT environment.
  • Assist engineers in configuring, managing and maintaining applications, network routing and switching to include Linux and Microsoft environments.
  • Use COTs software like SolarWinds, Splunk, MECM, Cisco Call Manager, BMC FootPrints and JSpace (Juniper).
  • Troubleshoot, repair and configure network devices to include firewalls.
  • Perform system administrator duties to include but not limited to user account management, certificates and group policy.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot virtual environments using products like Esxi, VMware, VSphere.
  • Configure and troubleshoot type 1 encryption devices.
  • Assist engineers with monthly patch management, LAN/Site installs/decomms, tech refreshes and software upgrades.
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Must have IT experience working in an Enterprise IT environment.
  • Must be able to work shift schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or CISSP preferred) is required on day 1.
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain SCI after start.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows & Server environment to include but not limited to Active Directory, DNS and Group policy, experience with Linux bash, and experience implementing computer security.
  • Understanding of basic network engineering fundamentals, including: OSI layers, IP addressing, sub-netting, TCP/IP stack, VLANs, DHCP, etc.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and applications as required.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
