Position Details:

Pay Range: Starts at $19.50/hr - 22.77/hr. PLUS additional compensation: Shift differential (up to $2.00 / hour). Relevant experience in field (up to $2.00 / hour). Credit for higher education ($.48/hr for Bachelors degree; $.72 / hr for Masters degree).

Schedule: 2nd shift (2:45pm to 11:00pm)

Location: Pine Hills, FL

Position Overview

As a Program Supervisor, you will oversee the operations of a residential program serving children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. This leadership role ensures safety, compliance, and quality care while supporting staff and maintaining a therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct supervision of clients 
  • Supervise and support staff to ensure residents' needs are met
  • Demonstrate leadership and delegate tasks to Direct Support Professionals
  • Ensure staff are actively engaging with individuals and assist with crises when needed
  • Conduct 10-minute safety checks and document observations
  • Perform contraband checks (room sweeps for sharps/dangerous items)
  • Oversee medication management (administer, verify ingestion, and document)
  • Document daily activities and behaviors in shift notes
  • Prepare meals, including cooking, proper food storage, and occasional grocery shopping
  • Maintain cleanliness of facility grounds, residents' rooms/bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry
  • Transport individuals to school, appointments, and community outing
  • Communicate effectively with the clinical treatment team and day program leadership

Location: Pine Hills area (Orlando, Florida)

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Post-Secondary education preferred

Experience:

  • Prior behavioral health experience preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in a residential treatment center preferred
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience preferred

Other Requirements:

  • Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Test, Physical, and TB Test.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • Successfully pass a Level 2 background screening with the State of Florida. To learn more visit: https://info.flclearinghouse.com.
  • Valid driver's license.  Occasional driving of Devereux vehicles for business purposes.  Must be able to drive a car and a passenger van (which holds up to 15 passengers). 
  • Must be willing to be on call 24/7
