Job Description:

Program Assistant Oncology -Oncology Services | Full Time 40 hours a week Day shift.

About the Job

The program assistant will provide support to the Oncology Center of Excellence (CoE). This will include helping to manage patient programs to support oncology patients undergoing treatment, support all the accreditations for the CoE including, but not limited to, Commission on Cancer (CoC), National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC), and American College of Radiology (ACR), and to provide administrative support to the Executive Medical Director and Executive Director of Oncology.

What You'll Do

Partners with the Manager of Oncology Services and Program Development to facilitate the development of business cases/project proposals as part of the enterprise project governance process.

Supports cross-functional teams to evaluate, plan, implement and manage assigned projects in support of the organization's strategic objectives.

Coordinates tasks, schedule, scope, resources, communications, and quality control as appropriate for assigned projects.

Develops and fosters strong relationships with project owners and team members.

Partners with Manager of Oncology and Program Development to ensure an effective assessment of project scope and requirements to apply the appropriate resources to meet the identified needs of a project.

Maintains knowledge of Elliot Health System strategic goals and objectives and ensures the project teams are informed on the project alignment with the objectives.

Assists with the coordination of and distributes internal and external office communication.

Assists special events for the service line programs.

Provides administrative support for the leadership team.

Provides administrative support which includes scheduling meetings, answering telephone calls, greeting visitors, opening/distributing mail, filing important documents, photocopying and ordering supplies. Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

Associates Degree required. Bachelors degree preferred. Healthcare experience preferred.
