As Assistant Health Services Coordinator at Résidences des Bâtisseurs, you will help plan, direct, organize, and control the activities of the care department while contributing to improving the well-being of our residents. Your Indispensable Role: Under the supervision of the Care Coordinator (CSS), you will play a key role in the management and coordination of health services at the residence. Assist the CSS in supervising the care provided to residents. Administer appropriate and emergency care, while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Participate in the recruitment and scheduling of nursing staff. Supervise members of the care team, ensuring compliance with quality standards and procedures. Collaborating in the development and implementation of measures to prevent risks related to nursing care (medication, falls, infections, etc.).

Ensuring the satisfaction of residents and their families, while providing attentive and personalized follow-up. Perform administrative tasks and provide ongoing support to the CSS. Perform any other related tasks, as required by the department.

Requirements: Member in good standing of the OIIAQ. Minimum of two years of experience in elderly care in a retirement home. Experience in personnel management within a healthcare setting.

Up-to-date training in CPR, first aid and PDSB (Principles of Safe Patient Handling). Desired profile: Ability to analyze and make quick decisions in a changing environment. Professional autonomy, sense of responsibility and good judgment.

Excellent interpersonal skills for smooth communication with teams, residents and their families. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and the MS Office suite.
