Position Overview
The University of North Texas at Dallas (UNT Dallas) School of Business invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Marketing position starting in Fall 2026. This is a full-time, tenure-track position, responsible for teaching four (4) courses per semester. The successful candidate will be expected to achieve excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. We seek candidates who are committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in marketing or another closely related area. ABD will be considered.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching.
  • Demonstrated potential or effectiveness in scholarship.
  • Experience with online and/or hybrid teaching formats.
  • Evidence of ability to contribute to the positive culture of our school, university, and community.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Participate in service activities, including program development, course development, program assessment, and committee service.
  • Provide instruction in a full range of marketing and some management courses.

Preferred Qualifications
  • A doctoral degree from an AACSB-accredited school.
  • Academic experience working on a campus with culturally diverse students, staff, and faculty.
  • Experience in developing both face-to-face and online courses.
  • Experience in curriculum development and program assessment.
