Assistant/Associate Professor of Geology
Description: Charleston Southern University invites applications for a Assistant or Associate Professor of Geology in the College of Science and Mathematics. Charleston Southern seeks candidates who are professing Christians, committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship and service. They should support the goals of a strong liberal arts education and be willing to explore with students the integration of faith and learning. Rank and pay is commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities: Teach 24 semester hours (lecture and lab) per academic year; contribute to an active and challenging undergraduate research program; follow university policies related to instruction; attend and participate in departmental and university functions; and serve on university committees as required. Experience in teaching and supervising undergraduate research is desirable.
