AGE Solutions is seeking a Process Engineering Lead to support our DoD customer in modernizing and optimizing Risk Management Framework (RMF) business processes. This position will lead process improvement initiatives focused on accelerating RMF execution through business process reengineering, automation, and emerging technologies.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Lead enterprise business process reengineering and modernization initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of process engineers, automation specialists, and technical subject matter experts supporting RMF modernization initiatives.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and whiteboarding sessions to document current-state processes.
  • Drive the delivery of measurable outcomes, including reduced RMF cycle times, increased operational efficiency, improved process standardization, and expanded automation capabilities.
  • Develop process maps, swim-lane diagrams, value-stream maps, and executive briefings.
  • Develop and manage implementation roadmaps, milestones, and performance metrics to ensure timely delivery of modernization objectives.
  • Analyze workflows to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Advise senior Government leadership on strategic process improvement opportunities, organizational change initiatives, and technology adoption strategies.
  • Evaluate AI/ML, Generative AI, and workflow automation capabilities to improve mission performance.
  • Provide ongoing process engineering support throughout implementation and adoption efforts.

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related discipline.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 10 years of experience leading Business Process Reengineering (BPR), Lean Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Experience briefing executive-level audiences, including senior government leadership.
  • Security Clearance:
    • Must have a current DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Certifications:
    • Must have a Current DoD 8570/8140 compliant certification (Security+, CAP, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent).
      • Additional role-specific certifications in process improvement, automation, AI/ML, or cybersecurity are highly desired.
  • Skills and Knowledge:
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Visio (process modeling, swim-lane diagrams, BPMN) and Microsoft PowerPoint (executive-quality briefings).
    • Demonstrated proficiency in value-stream mapping, process modeling, and process improvement methodologies used to analyze current-state workflows, identify cycle-time delays, and develop future-state process designs.
    • Demonstrated working knowledge of the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) as defined in NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI-1253, and applicable DoD Instructions (e.g., DoDI 8500.01, DoDI 8510.01).
    • Familiarity with one or more of the mission areas under support: STIG/SRG/CCI development, A&A processes, Cloud A&A processes, or Cloud cybersecurity architecture.
    • Working knowledge of automation technologies (e.g., Robotic Process Automation, workflow tools such as ServiceNow or Jira) and current AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities relevant to enterprise process automation.
  • Location:
    • This is a hybrid position. Must be able to travel periodically to Fort Meade, MD and Chambersburg, PA to support customer meetings, workshops, and program activities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting DISA, DoD, or Federal cybersecurity and risk management programs.
  • Experience supporting Risk Management Framework (RMF) modernization, cybersecurity governance, or Authorization and Assessment (A&A) activities.
  • Experience developing executive-level briefings, strategic roadmaps, and recommendations for Senior Executive Service (SES), Flag Officers, or equivalent senior government leadership.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, or equivalent Business Process Reengineering (BPR) certification.
  • Certified Authorization Professional (CAP), CISSP, CISM, or equivalent DoD 8570/8140-compliant cybersecurity certification.
  • Experience evaluating and implementing workflow automation solutions using ServiceNow, Jira, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI, and intelligent automation technologies applied to business process improvement and cybersecurity operations.

The projected salary range for this position is $170,000+ annually. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including years of relevant experience, active security clearance level, certifications, technical skillset, contract requirements, and overall qualifications.
