North Allegheny School District is one the highest performing public school districts in Pennsylvania and recognized nationally for its focus on academic achievement and growth, future preparation, school climate and student and staff wellness. Located just north of Pittsburgh, it is the largest suburban school district in Allegheny County with over 8,500 students.
The District seeks candidates to fill the Assistant Principal's Secretary position at Carson Middle School, effective date to be determined.
The Assistant Principal Secretary provides confidential secretarial, clerical, and administrative support to Carson Middle School, maintains records and materials, and contributes to the smooth and efficient operation resulting in a maximum positive impact on educational environment.
The Assistant Principal Secretary will work 8 hours per day and is a 260-Day position.
Starting Hourly rate will be in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
The rate for the 2026-2027 School Year is $21.40/Hour with a comprehensive individual benefit package available.
Current clearances are required and include:
  • Child Abuse History Clearance
  • PA Criminal Record Check
  • FBI Fingerprint Clearance
  • Mandated Reporter of Child Abuse Training
  • Successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment Physical and TB Test.
