Location: Sicamous, BC

Department: Golf

Reports To: Head Golf Professional

Classification: Full Time / Part Time Seasonal

(must be available to work any shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays)

Compensation: $17.85 to $20.00 per hour, based on suitability and experience

Overlooking beautiful Mara Lake, in the summer paradise of Sicamous BC, our golf shop offers a wide range of merchandise, equipment, and apparel to golf enthusiasts of all levels. We are committed to delivering outstanding customer service and fostering a welcoming environment for everyone who visits our shop.

We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Golf Shop Retail Associate. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers, maintaining merchandise displays, and ensuring the overall success of our golf shop operations. If you are passionate about golf, have a knack for sales, and enjoy interacting with people, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs

Provide expert knowledge and recommendations on golf equipment, apparel, and accessories

Process tee time and sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our Tee-On point-of-sale system

Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail environment

Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking shelves and merchandise displays

Assist with receiving and processing of new merchandise arrivals

Handle customer inquiries, requests, and concerns in a professional and courteous manner

Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations

Qualifications

Previous retail experience, preferably in a golf shop or sporting goods store

Strong customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of golf equipment, apparel, and accessories preferred

Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Basic computer skills and experience with point-of-sale systems is an asset
