Assistant Account Manager

Salary Range: $38,000 - $45,000 Annually, Commensurate with Experience

Work Modality: On-Site

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday

Location: Houston, TX

Ideal Experience:

  • This position assists with providing strategic leadership and direction for the on-site parking facilities by maintaining day-to-day operations while ensuring the highest levels of customer service and parking revenue generation. The ideal candidate will have previous parking industry experience, with a hospitality focus also being a top assett.
  • Progressive supervisory experience with front-line team oversight
  • Some experience with scheduling and payroll is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business is helpful but not required.

As Assistant Account Manager, you will:

  • Provide for the administration of all activities related to the physical operation of the parking garage including cleaning, repair, equipment maintenance and security in order to maintain a first class operation at all times.
  • Assist with management of the day-to-day fiscal activities of the garages including the on-site bookkeeping, accounts receivable, and budget management in an accurate and timely manner.  Responsibilities include developing budgets for parking accounts and explaining variances for monthly, quarterly reports and annual plans.
  • Assist with management of all aspects of the lessee’s parking including rent roll maintenance, contract files, lease provision compliance, maintaining an accurate account of all monthly parkers, timely follow up on late or missing payments, managing approved user database, proximity card activation and distribution, etc.
  • Supervise the timely and accurate completion of daily reports as they relate to the parking operation. This includes daily reconciliation of cashier revenue, on-site parking validations, pay-on-foot payment machine, pay-on-entry handheld systems, and automated parking exit stations.
  • Sustain a culture of quality customer service aimed at providing a positive entry to exit experience for all guests visiting the facilities.
