Job description

Summary: Yorktown Systems Group, Inc. (YSG) is seeking a highly qualified Operations and Training Coordinator to provide comprehensive Warfighter Training Support Services at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA). The purpose of this position is to support the planning, development, execution, management, and evaluation of military training for approximately 4,200 cadets annually during both the academic year and summer training programs.

This position will assist the USAFA in delivering a coherent, progressive, and operationally relevant 47-month cumulative military training continuum aligned with Department of the Air Force (DAF) readiness objectives, Joint Force expectations, and USAFA cadet development outcomes. Specific duties may include, but are not limited to: Manages and maintains training-window synchronization, surge readiness tracking, surge rosters, event coordination and staffing profiles, subcontractor coordination, and onboarding status visibility. Track staffing and readiness dependencies.

Support manpower determination needs by assessing instructor-to-cadet ratios, evaluator requirements, observer-controller needs, support personnel, SME augmentation (specialized warfighter-advisor support), and seasonal surge requirements. Provide on-site coordination support across USAFA Warfighting Training Support functional areas. Ensure daily program continuity, stakeholder coordination, group-level integration, training-window synchronization, and readiness visibility.

Validate Warfighter Training Integration Solution (WTIS) Surge Ready Pool candidates against upcoming training windows, onboarding status, qualifications, availability, safety preparation, access requirements, and event-specific readiness requirements.Required Qualifications: Must possess 6+ years of training and operations coordination experience, preferably in a military operations and training environment. Demonstrated experience with training-window tracking, event staffing profiles, surge rosters, onboarding status, subcontractor coordination, qualification tracking, readiness review inputs, and operational schedule discipline. Demonstrated experience supporting operational training execution, cadet or student assessment, and safety enforcement

Experience briefing senior leaders and producing written communication & presentation materials. Desired Qualifications: Prior military experience as a Senior NCO (E7 - E9) or Officer (O3 - O5) with operations and training management experience at the Squadron/Battalion level or higher. Clearance: Must be able to obtain a SECRET security clearance.
