Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to support facility leadership in overseeing the daily operations of our Henderson, Colorado facility.

This location supports third-party logistics services and wooden pallet operations with a workforce of approximately 70 employees. The Operations Manager will provide leadership to supervisors and hourly employees while driving safety, productivity, quality, employee performance, and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will be comfortable spending time on the warehouse floor, analyzing operational results, coaching employees, addressing performance concerns, and making timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.

POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Pay Rate: $88,000 – $90,000 annually

  • Positions Supervised: ~70 hourly employees (Pallet Repair, Forklift Operators, Team Leads, Machine Operators, Yard Drivers)
  • Work Schedule: Day shift | Standard 40 hours/week; additional hours as operational demands require

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Drive daily, weekly, and monthly production goals for pallet sorting, repair, and manufacturing operations
  • Review and analyze daily and weekly production reports to identify and act on improvement opportunities
  • Partner with onsite management to deliver the quality standards and service our customers expect
  • Motivate, coach, train, and develop supervisors and hourly employees
  • Support the Onsite Regional Manager with employee scheduling, timekeeping, corrective actions, status changes, and separations
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, and retention across the facility
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with internal and external management teams
  • Promote a strong safety culture, identifying and correcting conditions that affect employee safety

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 3+ years of operations management experience (warehouse, production, manufacturing, or logistics preferred)
  • Experience leading supervisors and hourly production teams
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license required; forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to communicate with others, review information, operate a computer and standard office equipment, and move about both the office and warehouse production areas. The employee will spend time on the warehouse floor and may need to stand, walk, reach, bend, and occasionally lift or carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities may include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The work environment includes both an office setting and an active pallet production facility; warehouse noise is present throughout the facility, including office areas, along with exposure to dust, moving equipment, and seasonal temperature variations in production areas. Personal protective equipment is required in designated areas. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals to perform the essential functions of the position.
