 Now Hiring: Assistant Care Coordinator (9–5 + Evenings & Weekends On-Call)
Griswold Home Care for Sussex and Kent Counties

Griswold Home Care is looking for a proactive, compassionate, and organized Assistant Care Coordinator to support our clients and caregivers during regular office hours (9 AM–5 PM) and participate in an evening and weekend on-call rotation. This position plays an essential role in ensuring our clients receive reliable, uninterrupted care.


About the Role

As an Assistant Care Coordinator, you’ll work daily with the office team to help manage schedules, coordinate care, and support caregivers. You will also serve as an after-hours contact to handle urgent needs, schedule changes, and client concerns during evenings and weekends as part of your on-call responsibilities.


Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily scheduling, staffing, and client coordination from 9–5

  • Answer and respond to client and caregiver calls during scheduled evening and weekend on-call shifts

  • Handle urgent staffing needs, call-offs, and schedule adjustments

  • Document all after-hours communications and ensure smooth handoff to the office team

  • Support caregivers with problem-solving and guidance

  • Maintain accurate client and schedule records

  • Contribute to overall office operations and client satisfaction
