Job description

SUMMARY:

The Director of Corporate Engagement manages corporate sponsor relationships and leads the Corporate Partner Program. Manages corporate fundraising, sponsorship benefits and fulfillment and marketing materials for select fundraising events. Manages and helps to execute select fundraising events with the Central Services team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the Corporate Partnership Program and fundraising events.
  • Manage sponsorships for the Magic of Life Gala and, in partnership with lay leadership, help execute the biennial Gala. Collaborate with lay leadership to select the venue and talent for the Magic of Life Gala.
  • Manage and coordinate all logistical details for the Gala. Work with the Central Services team to review and prepare the invitation list and ensure appropriate seating arrangements for all sponsors.
  • Partner with the Donor Database Manager to reconcile event gifts and determine the value of goods and services received.
  • Work with the Community Steering Committee and Executive Steering Committee to identify and solicit vendors and community prospects, while leading strategic follow-up efforts and fundraising projections.
  • Cultivate relationships with executives and committee members to ensure effective communication and engagement from all vendor relationship managers. Work with Marketing to develop collateral materials.
  • Maintain prospect lists and provide high-level support to Steering Committees throughout each two-year event cycle. Develop strategic fundraising plans utilizing historical analysis and forecasting to ensure fundraising goals are met, including strategies to maintain and increase sponsorship and event revenue.
  • Develop and execute stewardship plans for Gala sponsors.
  • Lead and manage the Corporate Partnership Program, including creating sponsorship benefits, fulfilling partnership benefits, independently soliciting prospects and collaborating with executive leadership on cultivation efforts, planning engagement activities, and developing content for program materials.
  • Track progress throughout each program cycle and develop a comprehensive prospect pipeline.
  • Work with Marketing to create and promote program materials. Conduct one-on-one meetings with prospects and develop personalized proposals designed to engage vendors in system-wide events and initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance sponsorship participation through additional partnership benefits. Plan and execute all benefits associated with Corporate Partnerships.
  • Collaborate with LifeBridge Health entities to fulfill sponsorship commitments related to events and programs.
  • Maintain year-round communication with major sponsors, Executive Team members, board members, event chairs, key vendors, and event participants. Cultivate and steward relationships with LifeBridge Health Corporate Partners throughout the year.
  • Review corporate partner pledges, reminders, and payments with the Donor Database Manager to ensure accurate recording and application of all sponsorship support. Ensure donors receive coordinated and comprehensive solicitation efforts across the health system.
  • Ensure all event support is properly recorded, acknowledged, and stewarded by Corporate Development. Create sponsorship levels and benefits and solicit sponsors for Race for Our Kids (RFOK) in partnership with the Development team.
  • Ensure fulfillment of all sponsor benefits. Assist the Special Events and Development Communications Manager in developing the RFOK budget during the annual budget preparation process.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure the event remains within budget.
  • Manage sponsorship efforts for Be A Hero and, in partnership with lay leadership, assist in executing the biennial event. Collaborate with the Central Services team to select the venue and coordinate event logistics for Be A Hero and other fundraising events. Establish event budgets and closely monitor expenses.
  • Collaborate with the Center for Hope fundraising professional to develop and execute stewardship plans for Be A Hero sponsors. Partner with the Steering Committee to identify and solicit vendors and community prospects while leading strategic follow-up efforts and fundraising projections. Work with Marketing to develop collateral materials.
  • Maintain prospect lists and support sponsor cultivation efforts. Represent Corporate Development at events and committee meetings as required. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all system-wide fundraising events and initiatives. Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective event sponsors.
  • Attend the LifeBridge Health Annual Meeting, Family Society Dinner, and other key events to cultivate sponsors and strengthen relationships with event solicitation partners. Maintain an understanding of key vendor and corporate relationships across the system.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in corporate development and fundraising events
  • Master's degree preferred

Pay Range (Salaried): $36.58 up to $54.87; based on experience
