JOB SUMMARY

Assist the Head Men's Lacrosse Coach with recruiting, scouting and practice planning.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with practice and competition day management and activities for all players, work on overall team strategy with special emphasis on keepers.

  • Help with the planning and organization of camps and clinics as assigned.

OTHER DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS

  • Know and comply with allNCAArules and regulations, and pass theNCAA Coaches Certification Exam annually.

  • Must beCPRand First Aid certified.

  • Provide positive leadership for student-athletes.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's degree, master's degree preferred.

Experience:1 to 3 years of lacrosse experience.

Licenses or Certifications: CPRand First Aid certified

Financial Responsibility: None

Supervision: None

Special Knowledge: Know and comply with allNCAArules and regulations, and pass theNCAA Coaches Certification Exam annually.

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Ability to travel; heavy lifting required (50 pounds and over); may be required to work when the university is closed.

  • Ability to work in less than ideal weather conditions

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays

Compensation/Total Rewards
This is a stipend position that will be paid bi-weekly. The total amount of the stipend is will be between $10,000- $15,000.
