An assistant men’s lacrosse coach helps with the management of a men’s lacrosse team. In this role, you assist the head coach with various duties during practice and at games. Some assistant coaches work with players who play in a specific position or run particular training exercises, while others may oversee general drills or focus on fitness training in the gym. Other responsibilities include organizing and keeping an inventory of equipment, planning game strategies, collecting information on opponents, and maintaining performance records on players. There are professional lacrosse leagues, but most coaches in this sport work at the high school or college level.
