Position: Administrative Assistant – Medical Review Support

Duration: 3 Years

Location: 241 Ralph McGill Blvd NE, Atlanta, GA 30308

Position Summary

The Administrative Coordinator – Medical Review Support is responsible for providing administrative and compliance support while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This role supports timesheet processing, procurement reporting, office coordination, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Workplace Safety & Compliance

  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment
  • Ensure adherence to applicable Southern Company administrative, accounting, and compliance procedures
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of medical and employee records

Administrative & Office Support

  • Process, track, and coordinate completion of:
    • Staff timesheets
    • Procurement card (P-card) reports
  • Maintain office supply inventory and coordinate ordering
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and office logistics
  • Manage travel arrangements
  • Assist with office relocations when required
  • Create and track project correspondence
  • Perform additional administrative assignments as directed

Medical Review Support

  • Review and process medical questionnaires
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with established policies
  • Maintain secure handling of sensitive medical information

Required Qualifications

  • Medical background required (e.g., nursing, medical administration, healthcare support, or related field)
  • Experience reviewing medical documentation or questionnaires
  • Strong knowledge of administrative and accounting procedures
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
