Thirsty Waters Premium Tea is looking for energetic, dependable and team oriented Baristas to join our growing team. Our baristas play an important role in creating a welcoming guest experience while preparing premium quality drinks, maintaining store standards and supporting daily shop operations.
At Thirsty Waters, being a barista means more than crafting drinks. Team members are expected to wear multiple hats, support one another and contribute to the overall success of the shop. This includes front-of-house hospitality, drink preparation, cleaning, restocking, prep work and helping with food, pastries or dessert items that are part of the guest experience and supporting the sale of branded merchandise and licensed collaboration products.
Key Responsibilities
● Prepare and serve tea, milk tea, coffee, matcha, lemonade, and specialty beverages according to company recipes and standards
● Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient customer service
● Take customer orders accurately and handle transactions through the POS system
● Maintain cleanliness and organization in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas
● Restock ingredients, packaging, toppings, and supplies throughout the shift
● Support daily prep tasks such as brewing, ingredient preparation, stocking and kitchen, cookie/pastry prep related tasks as assigned
● Assist with opening and closing duties
● Follow all food safety, sanitation and company procedures
● Work collaboratively with team members and shift leads to keep operations running smoothly
● Help maintain a positive, high-energy, team-first environment
Qualifications
● Friendly, positive attitude with strong communication skills
● Comfortable speaking with guests about drinks, food items, merchandise and collaborations
● Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
● Strong sense of responsibility, cleanliness, and attention to detail
● Willingness to learn and take on different tasks as needed
● Team player mindset with a flexible attitude
● Prior barista, boba, food service or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
