The role

As a Shift Lead, you own daily operations during your shift, ensuring the team delivers an outstanding guest experience while upholding Vale's hospitality standards.

  • Direct floor operations and delegate tasks to ensure smooth, efficient service
  • Hold the team to Vale's beverage quality and hospitality standards

  • Monitor inventory levels and place supply orders as needed
  • Create SOPs and ensure all staff members are trained to the latest standards
  • Support team development by providing real-time coaching and encouragement
Qualifications
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • 2+ years of cafe, food service, or hospitality experience
  • (Strongly Preferred) Prior supervisory or shift-lead experience
  • Food handler's permit or ability to obtain one
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
