Help Adolescents Build a New Legacy

At Clearfork Academy, we provide high-quality substance abuse and mental health treatment for adolescents and young adults. We're looking for a dependable, observant, and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician who thrives in a structured environment and takes pride in supporting clients through consistency, professionalism, and attention to detail. This role is ideal for someone who values clear expectations, follows procedures carefully, enjoys meaningful work, and prefers being part of a supportive team focused on helping others succeed.

What You'll Do
  • Monitor client safety and well-being through regular observations and documentation
  • Conduct patient rounds, wellness checks, and facility safety inspections
  • Record vital signs and assist with urine drug screening procedures
  • Support educational, recreational, and therapeutic activities
  • Assist with program orientation and client supervision

  • Help ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Provide transportation support when assigned
  • Assist with routine housekeeping and facility upkeep
  • Collaborate with nurses, counselors, and clinical staff to support quality patient care
What Makes Someone Successful in This Role?

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Prefer a structured work environment with clear policies and procedures
  • Take pride in accuracy, consistency, and following established protocols
  • Are calm, patient, and dependable under pressure
  • Communicate directly, professionally, and respectfully
  • Enjoy observing details and ensuring tasks are completed correctly
  • Work well independently while contributing to a team mission
  • Value stability, accountability, and professionalism
  • Are motivated by helping others through actions rather than recognition
  • Appreciate clear guidance during training and enjoy autonomy once confident in your responsibilities
What We're Looking For
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in emotionally challenging situations
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to remain composed when addressing behavioral or emotional crises
  • Strong observational and critical-thinking skills
  • Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and client dignity
  • Ability to work with adolescents and young adults experiencing substance use and mental health challenges
Why Clearfork Academy?
  • Meaningful work that directly impacts young lives
  • Supportive leadership and clear expectations
  • Structured environment with established processes
  • Opportunity to develop valuable behavioral health experience
  • Collaborative team focused on client success and recovery

If you're a conscientious, reliable professional who believes in doing things the right way and wants to make a difference in the lives of adolescents and families, we encourage you to apply.
