Job description

Position Overview: Salsbery Brothers Landscaping is looking to add to our design/sales team! The Landscape Design Assistant supports the design team in creating functional, visually appealing outdoor spaces for residential customers. The role combines creative design support, field work, and client interaction to help bring landscape concepts to life. 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Assist in creating landscape designs, layouts, and planting plans
  • Prepare design renderings using a design software
  • Conduct site measurements, take photos, and document existing conditions
  • Support designers in selecting plants, materials, and hardscape features
  • Help develop project proposals and presentations for clients
  • Coordinate with crews to ensure designs are executed accurately 
  • Maintain project files, design revisions, and documentations 
  • Assist with client communication and follow-ups as needed
Qualifications: 
  • Experience in landscape design, horticulture, or related field
  • Experience with design software preferred
  • Basic knowledge of plants, materials, and landscape practices 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Ability to work both in an office and outdoor environment 
  • Valid divers license 
  • Creative design for deign and layout 
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills 
  • Time management and ability to meet deadlines
