Senior Key Account Manager Pet Specialty

Gpac is seeking a Senior Key Account Manager Pet Specialty to join our client's SoCal, CA office. This office-based role is with a leading premium pet food manufacturer, known worldwide for its high-quality, nutrient-rich, and human-grade products.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow senior-level relationships with national/regional retailers and distributors
  • Develop sales strategies to expand distribution and increase market share
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, promotions, and terms with key accounts
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity
  • Drive accurate forecasting, inventory planning, and business planning
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and leadership to align initiatives
  • Lead business reviews and client engagement strategies
  • Mentor junior account managers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (MBA a plus)
  • 57+ years of key account management experience in pet food or CPG
  • Proven history of growing large accounts and achieving revenue goals
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar accounts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools
