Cadet Home Services is seeking a detail-oriented HVAC Punch Technician (Punch Person) to inspect, diagnose, and complete final corrective work on residential HVAC installations and service projects. The ideal candidate will ensure all systems meet company quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and customer expectations before project completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform final inspections of residential HVAC installations and replacements. 
  • Identify and correct deficiencies, incomplete work, and installation issues ("punch list" items). 
  • Troubleshoot HVAC equipment, ductwork, controls, and system performance concerns. 
  • Verify proper system operation, airflow, refrigerant levels, and safety controls. 
  • Complete minor repairs, adjustments, and warranty-related corrections. 
  • Ensure installations comply with local building codes, manufacturer requirements, and company standards. 
  • Document findings, completed repairs, and recommendations using company software. 
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, installers, service technicians, and management. 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. 
  • Assist installation and service teams as needed to ensure customer satisfaction. 
Qualifications
  • HVAC experience preferred (installation, service, or quality control). 
  • EPA Certification preferred. 
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. 
  • Ability to read HVAC schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation plans. 
  • Knowledge of residential heating, cooling, ventilation, and indoor air quality systems. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. 
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions.
