What Will I be Doing?
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-driven Incentive Compensation Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of incentive compensation processing. This role is responsible for supervising a team of analysts/processors, ensuring the accurate and timely calculation of incentive payouts, and supporting the operational integrity of compensation systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for leading teams in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Team Supervision & Support
  • Supervise a team of compensation analysts responsible for calculating and validating incentive payouts.
  • Provide daily oversight, task prioritization, and support to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Conduct regular check-ins, performance reviews, and training to support team development and engagement.
    Compensation Calculation & Validation
  • Oversee the execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual incentive compensation calculations.
  • Review and validate data inputs, calculation logic, and final outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance with plan rules.
  • Resolve discrepancies and escalate complex issues to the Manager or Director as needed.
    Process Management & Improvement
  • Maintain and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for compensation processing.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and enhance efficiency.
  • Support system testing, upgrades, and enhancements in collaboration with IT and system administrators.
    Reporting & Documentation
  • Generate and review compensation reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all calculations, approvals, and audit trails.
  • Assist in preparing materials for audits, compliance reviews, and leadership reporting.
    Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Serve as a key point of contact for inquiries from Sales, HR, Payroll, and Finance regarding compensation calculations.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders to explain payout results and resolve issues.
  • Participate in plan rollout meetings to ensure understanding of operational requirements and timelines.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

Qualifications
To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in incentive compensation administration, payroll operations, or financial analysis.
  • 1+ years of experience supervisory or team lead role.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with compensation tools (e.g., Xactly, Varicent, Anaplan).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
  • Experience working with large datasets and complex compensation structures.
  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP).
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance and audit requirements related to compensation.
