CTR Group is seeking a Human Resources Assistant 2 for a Shipyard in the Newport News, VA, area.


PAY RANGE: $22 - $28 per Hour with Benefits


SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Assistant 2 performs a variety of general personnel/clerical tasks in such areas as employee records, benefits, education/training, employment, compensation, and equal employment opportunity. Maintains both manual and automated personnel records, collects and compiles sensitive and confidential personnel statistics and prepares reports. In accordance with procedures, furnishes information to authorized persons and/or agencies. Provides information to all levels of employees regarding personnel policies and procedures.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or experience
  • Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
