LEASING CONSULTANT – BE THE HEART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Are you a people-person with a knack for making connections? Do you love turning strangers into neighbors and apartments into homes? If you bring the energy, we’ve got the opportunity!

As a Leasing Consultant, you’re the friendly face and trusted guide for every potential resident, walking them through the exciting journey of finding their perfect home. From the first "Hello!" to the day they pick up their keys, you’ll be there—greeting, touring, answering questions, and making move-in day a breeze.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Apartment Matchmaker – Greet and assist future residents in finding the right apartment home. Help people find their dream apartment while making their experience seamless, fun, and stress-free.
  • Tour Guide with a Twist – Show off our beautiful, move-in-ready apartments with enthusiasm and charm.
  • Resident Cheerleader – Build trust and rapport with current residents to create a welcoming community.
  • Leasing Rockstar – Work closely with your team to hit leasing goals while keeping customer service top-notch.
  • Renewal Expert – Help current residents renew their leases because they can’t imagine living anywhere else!

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Pay + Commissions – Earn anywhere from $25 to $100 per lease, paid monthly!
  • Full-Time Flexibility – Work on our busiest days, including Fridays, Saturdays, and the occasional Sunday/Holiday.

*The Company provides at least 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year in states with no state mandate. **To be eligible for holiday pay, employees must have completed 90 days of employment and worked the last scheduled day before and the first day after the holiday.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Able and willing to maintain regular attendance and punctuality to ensure all essential duties are fulfilled
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write and speak clearly and free of typos or grammatical mistakes
  • Treats everyone with respect and dignity, accepts responsibility and takes ownership of tasks, follows through on commitments, takes initiative and maintains confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet goals and deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education and Experience
  • A high school diploma or GED is required; an undergraduate degree is preferred
  • Previous property management experience with a proven track record in leasing or sales is required
  • Natural disposition for sales and understanding of sales techniques and processes
Physical Requirements
  • Expected work hours:
    • Must work on the heaviest traffic days of the week, including Fridays and Saturdays weekly (and Sundays on an as-needed basis) and Holidays during peak business hours, including at least one closing shift weekly
    • Leasing Consultants will be scheduled according to Company guidelines and standards and must approve their schedules with their supervisor
  • Travel: None
  • Work environment and physical demands:
    • General office environment, ability to lift or move items weighing up to 10 pounds
    • Able to move about the property to perform assigned tasks and responsibilities, including sitting or standing for extended periods, walking, and climbing stairs to perform functions in various weather conditions and variable climates
  • FLSA Status: Nonexempt
