Job description

Healthcare Call Center Representative 


Pay: $16.00 per hour; which may be below your state's minimum wage.  Please take this into consideration when applying.

Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 9am-5:30pm EST

Job Type: Onsite Full-Time role located in Chesapeake, VA. area

Training Provided: 5 weeks' paid training- Monday-Friday 9:30am-5:00pm EST

Job Overview

We are seeking dependable and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Healthcare Call Center Representative. In this role, you will handle inbound calls from new and existing employee members regarding their benefits and plans. This is a fast-paced call center environment where strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound calls in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist members with questions related to their benefits and plans
  • Update account information as needed
  • Assist with changes to health plans, FSA or HSA plans for new and existing employees
  • Navigate multiple systems while accurately documenting interactions
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues efficiently
  • Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance

Requirements:

  • Must have a high school diploma/GED
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must be able to work on an Onsite in office position as is required for this role
  • Customer service and/or call center experience in healthcare is a PLUS but not required.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems and dual screens 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, inbound call center environment
  • Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to solve problems through analysis and provided feedback
  • Must be able to work an 8-hour shift between 9am-530pm EST, Monday- Friday
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with applicants, beneficiaries and co-workers.

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information.  For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated hourly rate for this role is $16.00
