Role Overview:

The Seasonal Administrative Assistant provides short term administrative support to the program area, helping ensure smooth operations during peak periods. This role supports a wide range of tasks including graphics assistance, document creation, SharePoint management, and occasional case-related work. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail oriented, and comfortable learning new tasks as needs arise.

  • Assist with the creation and editing of basic graphics for internal communications, presentations, and program materials.

  • Prepare, format, and proofread documents, spreadsheets, and reports.

  • Support the organization and maintenance of SharePoint sites, including uploading files, managing permissions, and ensuring accurate document versioning.

  • Provide general administrative support such as data entry, scheduling, email communication, and filing.

  • Assist with case work, which may include documentation, data updates, and tracking follow-up items.

  • Respond to routine inquiries and assist with coordinating information across teams.

  • Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned to meet program needs.

Location:

This position is with INDOT's Greenfield District.

Pay Rate:

This position pays an hourly rate of $18.00.

A Day in the Life:

The essential functions of this role are as follows:

  • Respond to routine inquiries and assist with coordinating information across teams.
