Job description

Golf Member Services are familiar in all aspects of the golf department. This position is responsible for maintaining the safety of members and guests with upholding the integrity the club and its policies. Golf Member Services will assist with the outdoor components of the golf operations in a professional and welcoming demeanor with high regards towards member and guest relations. Accentuates teamwork and knows and follows the Club safety policies and procedures. This position will embody the Carolina Country Club Mission Statement and Absolutes.

Job Functions include:
  • Has a good understanding of the rules and regulations of the game of golf and proper course etiquette.
  • Acknowledges and greets all members (by name) and their guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner.
  • Responsible for daily operations of range ball recovery utilizing both mechanical and hand machinery equipment.
  • Responsible for collection and organization of all range baskets and the washing of the range balls.
  • Keeps golf carts, range balls and club rentals available to members and their guests. Coordinates with golf shop to keep level of carts available.
  • Keep driving range clean, picked and keep course water containers clean and filled with ice water.
  • Maintains and keeps golf staging area and driving range clean and communicates to housekeeping when trash receptacles need to be emptied.
  • Maintains good personal hygiene, clean and pressed uniforms and a clean work environment.
  • Assists members empathetically and follows through with requests, complaints, concerns and/or questions; will seek management assistance as needed.
  • Ability to fully explain all golf products, services and other information about the club to all guests and owners.
  • Maintains knowledge of current club events, activities and hours of operation, to include dining hours.
  • Ensure carts are properly stored and placed on chargers and reports any damages or area of concern immediately to management.
  • Assist golf shop in tournament setup of golf carts and range operations.
  • Ability to learn new skills and adapt to change.
  • Attends staff meetings.
  • Completes required computer based training courses within the required time frame.
  • Is responsible for knowing CCC Employee Policies and working by the CCC Mission Statement.
